This collection includes one oversize scrapbook, which includes black and white and color photographs, brochures, news clippings and souvenir papers from the 50th anniversary celebrations of HCC. Some papers and photographs are also loose from the scrapbook. Items date from September 6-10, 1996.

This collection includes 8 buttons, 3 small and 5 large, that were created for various college events or as promotional material. Some of the events featured on the buttons include: Spring Fest, College Fest, and the Hagerstown Hawk Triathlon. Only a few of the buttons include a specific date used to determine the time frame of this collection.

Scope and Contents The materials found in this collection include: digital photographs, color slides and negatives or various theater productions produced at HCC, as well as production programs from a majority of these shows and calendars of campus events that include theater shows. This collection includes 2 artifacts: 1 small red brick with “HJC” inscribed on the top, and 1 mounted ceramic tile with the college’s seal and the dates 1946-1971. These items are believed to be from 1971, possibly as a celebration of the college’s 25th anniversary.

This collection contains two issues of "The Hawk News", a student newspaper at HCC. The newspaper ran for several years non-consecutively. These two issues are the first after a two-year hiatus. Full history of the newspaper is unknown at this point.
